Lakka starter bead is a rendering profile used to create a straight, stable and neat finish along the bottom edge of a rendered façade. The bead supports and guides the render layer, making it easier to achieve an even, professional finish.

The starter bead is used in Lakka's two-coat thin-rendering system. It is installed along the bottom edge of the façade before rendering begins and is used together with products such as Lakka Kuitulaasti+ and Lakka reinforcing mesh.

The bead is designed for a render thickness of 10 mm and helps create a clear transition between the rendered façade and the underlying structure. It is suitable for both new construction and renovation of rendered façades.
