Lakka reinforcement mesh for plastering 1x50 m – 50 m²

NOTE! This product is not kept in stock and must be ordered.

Lakka reinforcing mesh is a durable, alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh used to reinforce plaster layers and reduce the risk of cracking. The mesh has high tensile strength and good dimensional stability, contributing to a durable, stable plastered surface.

Lakka reinforcing mesh is part of Lakka’s system for thin-coat plastering with a two-layer render. The reinforcing mesh is embedded in the first layer of Lakka Kuitulaasti+ and reinforces the plaster system. A further layer of Kuitulaasti+ is then applied before the façade is finished with a suitable primer and topcoat, such as Lakka silicone resin render.

The mesh is suitable for plastering façades made of materials such as brick, concrete, and masonry blocks, as well as for insulating render. During installation, the mesh is laid with overlaps according to the system’s installation instructions to ensure continuous reinforcement.
