Knauf Silentboard is a specially developed sound-insulating plasterboard with high density, providing significantly better sound insulation than standard plasterboard. The board is specifically designed for wall constructions with high sound insulation requirements and for creating a quiet, comfortable indoor environment.

Silentboard is particularly suitable for partition walls in homes, offices, meeting rooms, hospitals, hotels, and music studios. Its high density provides effective sound dampening even at low frequencies, making the board suitable, for example, for sound insulation of technical installations and existing wall constructions.

The board can be used for both new construction and renovation, and combined with suitable framing systems and insulation to achieve high sound insulation. It has tapered and rounded edges, and the joints are filled with Knauf Uniflott in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
