Knauf KXT 9 wind barrier board 9 mm – For exterior walls

Knauf KXT 9 is a 9 mm-thick gypsum wind barrier board used as exterior wind protection in external wall constructions. The board protects the insulation from wind and helps reduce air leakage through the structure, improving the wall's thermal insulation performance.

The wind barrier board is installed on the outside of the wall frame, behind the ventilated façade cladding. It is suitable for both new construction and renovation of residential buildings and other buildings with timber or steel frames. The board is easy to cut and install, making it a practical option for various types of façade work.

Knauf KXT 9 is vapor-permeable and helps the structure dry outward while protecting it from wind. The non-combustible gypsum board material also contributes to the building's fire safety.
