Rubber bitumen adhesive Icopal 300 ml – Elastic glue & sealant

Icopal Rubber Bitumen Adhesive 300 ml is an elastic rubber bitumen adhesive and sealant for bonding, sealing, and repairing bitumen-based roofing materials. The product is primarily used for bonding joints and overlaps on bitumen roofs, but is also suitable for repairing older waterproofing layers and sealing roofs made of tile, fiber cement, and other bitumen-based materials.

The elastic compound follows the material's movements and can withstand movements of ±7.5% as well as temperatures from -20 °C to +90 °C after curing. The adhesive is easily applied with a caulking gun and provides a strong, water-resistant, and long-lasting joint. The product is dust-dry after approximately 15 minutes, has a curing time of about 8 days depending on joint thickness, and can be overpainted with acrylic paint once cured.

For best results, the substrate should be clean and dry at the time of application. The rubber bitumen adhesive is an excellent choice for both new construction and repair of bitumen roofs where a durable and weather-resistant joint is required.
